Popular Duplicate Breakouts Added

by Dan Cruver Published Sep 24, 2010

New Breakout Options: Several breakout leaders were asked to do their breakouts twice due to the popularity of their particular topic. Below is the list of those breakouts. If you have had difficulty finding any breakouts that had openings, here are several options. Also, the full list of our breakouts can be found here.

Breakout Session 1: International Adoption (Herbie Newall, Lifeline Children’s Service). Are you interested in adopting internationally? This session will provide an overview on the international adoption process.
Room: 2.12; Capacity: 50

Breakout Session 2: Beginning the Adoption Journey (Laura Godwin, Nightlight Christian Adoptions). Most couples spend about two or three years just thinking about adoption. If you are ready to begin adopting a child but are unsure of just which direction to go, this workshop will help you decide what is the best path to building your family.
Room: 2.302; Capacity: 40

Breakout Session 3: Foster-to-Adopt (Keith Howard, Arrow Child & Family Ministries of Texas). Have you seriously considered fostering- to-adopt? If not, this session will help you think through this often overlooked type of adoption.
Room: 3.306; Capacity: 50

Breakout Session 4: Getting Started in the Right Direction: Helping Pre-Adoptive Couples Make Sound Decisions (Joe Gerber, Loving Shepherd Ministries). For pastors and lay leaders: You’ve done a great job of promoting adoption in your church. God is stirring couples in the congregation to consider adoption. They excitedly come to you for specific guidance and direction. Now what? This breakout teaches you how to aid families that are considering adoption through the difficult but significant choices leading up to adoption – from whether to adopt, to which kind of adoption, to which agency to choose, to which country, to how they can finance their adoption. Get specific, tangible counsel and resources in this breakout.
Room: 3.314; Capacity; 35

Breakout registration ends Monday night at 12:00am for logistical purposes. Everyone one who registered after that time will automatically be placed in the breakouts held in the auditorium (which, by the way, are excellent!). Let us know if you have any questions.
