Who will be at our conference? Bryan Loritts

by Dan Cruver Published Jun 22, 2010

Bryan Loritts is one of the six general session speakers at our October 1-2 National Conference in Austin, TX. His talk is entitled “The Church as the Theater of Transracial Adoption.”

Bryan is the lead pastor of Fellowship Memphis, a multi-cultural church ministering to the evolving community of the city of Memphis. Fellowship Memphis was a church planted in the second most segregated city in the country. Since its beginning, Fellowship has dreamed of providing a medicating balm to the “black eye” of Memphis. From slavery to the assassination of Dr. King and beyond, Memphis has become known as a racist city. It is within this historical context that Fellowship Memphis labors to model diversity, racial reconciliation and racial harmony by the transforming power of the Gospel. By God’s grace, Fellowship Memphis has become a congregation where both whites and blacks worship and serve together.
