Announcing the For the Orphan Internship

If you are interested in learning to serve the orphan within the context of a local church, The Austin Stone Community Church is providing a wonderful “For the Orphan” internship opportunity. One of the responsibilities of this internship will be the coordination of the Together for Adoption conference. Here’s the full internship description:

For the Orphan

The Austin Stone is seeking to equip, connect, and mobilize the body of Christ to care for the orphan at the Stone, across the city, and throughout the nations. This internship will provide opportunities to interact in the church body, in collaboration with other churches and non-profits, and with well-established national orphan care programs.

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: administration, coordination of the Together for Adoption conference, networking with other churches and non-profits, and assisting in the development of environments in which to empower believers at the Austin Stone to care for the orphan. This intern position will work both with The Austin Stone and with the For the City Network.
