Do you hear it too?

There is rumbling in the church. A desire for more. A move out of complacency and away from comfort towards the needs of the world . . . I am deeply encouraged as I see in the evangelical church an awakening to the plight of the orphans globally and locally in our own country. Worldwide there are an estimated 132 million orphans, many of which are orphaned due to AIDS. In the United States alone there are over 500,000 children in the foster care system. Out of those children in the foster care system roughly 129,000 of them are available today for adoption.
Churches and individual believers around the country are not sitting idly by at the mention of these numbers.
