A.M.B.E.R. Adoption Fund in Memphis’ News

Amber Mathenia's enthusiasm about her adopted children, Ellie (left) and Isaac, inspired her church to raise funds for an adoption-assistance program and name the AMBER Fund after her. Mathenia, a Millington native and missionary in Ethiopia, died in a car crash while visiting her family in January. Memphis’ online news source Commercial Appeal recently did an article on Grace Church‘s “A.M.B.E.R. Adoption Fund.” “A.M.B.E.R.” stands for “Adoption Magnifies the Beauty of Eternal Redemption.” You can read it here.
