Providing gospel-centered resources to mobilize the church for global orphan care.

LIVE in the Story Event in Athens, Georgia

Together for Adoption is partnering with Chosen for Life Ministries for a March 22-23 theology boot camp in Athens, Georgia called LIVE in the Story. T4A boot camps are intensive two-day events designed for Christians and ministry leaders who desire to journey further into the transformative theology of adoption (i.e., God’s work of adoption within the story of redemption) for the sake of the orphan. The daily battles we fight as Christians are the result of temptations to live within the smaller stories we are so prone to tell ourselves. These smaller stories are tales that are driven along by gospel-less plots.

“God really isn’t pleased with me.”

“God really doesn’t delight in me.”

“God is most often waiting for me to mess up so that He can ‘let me have it.’”

“God merely tolerates me.”

If you are like we are, these are plots that you are tempted to rehearse often, if not every day.

But the story of Adoption is the true Story that God Himself tells. The plot of God’s Story drives the entire story of human history. Scripture’s grand Story of Adoption announces the good news that God in Christ has stepped into our messed up stories of estrangement and waywardness to graciously rewrite and transform them into his Story. This is the Story that the Gospel tells us each day and the Story that we, in turn, are to tell ourselves, our children, and each other every day.

The purpose of our boot camp is to provide gospel-centered teaching that magnifies the adopting grace of God the Father in Christ Jesus and mobilizes the church for global orphan care. This boot camp will equip you with an enriching theology of Adoption and explore its implications for daily Christian living and visiting orphans in their affliction.

Boot Camp Objectives
