Tesoros de Dios – God’s Treasures!

by Dan Cruver Published Aug 22, 2012

Yesterday, (Tuesday, August 21st) we had the great privilege of meeting some courageous moms caring for children with special needs at Tesoros De Dios (which means “God’s Treasures”) in Managua, Nicaragua. World Orphans is working with this great ministry ( to bring awareness and care to children with special needs at community churches The director, Michelle Adams, is so very faithful and committed in her care for these mothers and special needs children. I was awe-inspired as I watched her in action and listened to her heart and vision for this ministry.

It was an especially powerful time for me since our second birth child (daniel, pictured blow) suffered from very severe special needs for the 3 years God had given him to us. I am so grateful that God humbles us with the opportunity to love and serve these beautiful children with special needs. It was a heartrending and humbling honor to be with them yesterday.

Please pray for Tesoros De Dios and consider sponsoring one or more of their children. This would be a wonderful opportunity for a church to come alongside a clinic that serves special needs children in order to provide it ongoing support.
