Hope for Orphans Institute—Sept. 16-17

by Dan Cruver Published Aug 18, 2011

We at ABBA Fund and Together for Adoption believe that what the Hope for Orphans Institute is doing September 16-17 is of critical importance. The adoption journey does not conclude once your child is in your home. That’s really when the journey begins. Actually and ideally, the post-placement journey should begin months and months before your child even enters your home. Unfortunately, we’re seeing an increasing number of families that aren’t adequately prepared for the post-placement journey.

The Hope for Orphans Institute is stepping into this area of great need. If you know a family that is considering adoption or is struggling since adopting, are interested in learning the latest on how to best serve the increasing number of families adopting special needs or at-risk kids, or would you like help yourself on how to best prepare for and help manage a possible disruption, please consider attending this excellent September 16-17 event. You will have the opportunity to learn from experts like Dr. Karyn Purvis, Dr. Sharon Ford, Dr. Randy Stinson, and many others. Plus, you will benefit from the worship-leading ministry of Geoff Moore. I had the opportunity to serve with Geoff at a recent orphan care conference. He’s one of the pioneers in the evangelical orphan care movement. Very grateful for him.

And . . . if you need added incentive to attend, all T4A and ABBA constituents can get 50% off online registration by using promo code ABBA.
