Providing gospel-centered resources to mobilize the church for global orphan care.

Orphan Sunday Campaign is LIVE!

by Dan Cruver Published Jul 28, 2011

Last year, more than 250,000 Christians joined in local Orphan Sunday events.  The Orphan Sunday movement is strong evidence that God is awakening us to our gospel-motivated calling to care for the fatherless.

Orphan Sunday is your opportunity to celebrate God’s heart for the orphan in your church and family.  Grow a vision for adoption, foster and global orphan care…as part of a global movement.

Each event or activity is led by local Christians committed to the Gospel and the orphan: from Sunday School classes and sermons to a prayer gathering, shared meal or concert.

Alongside your local event, join Christians worldwide at 6 PM CT on Orphan Sunday evening for the LIVE from Kansas City hour of GUIDED PRAYER for the fatherless, along with WORSHIP led by Jon Egan of the Desperation Band.

You can also make a simple shared meal part of your gathering using The Orphan’s Table. Those desiring to participate will be sent a simple packaged meal typically served to orphans worldwide, along with a discussion and prayer guide.   Families and church groups will be able reflect, pray and discuss as they share this meal experience.

Check out the Orphan Sunday website: It’s loaded with free resources.
